Preparatory Course

The Preparatory Course (Prep Course) is designed primarily for overseas students who seek an intensive English Course in preparation for formal admission into HCIS.

Conducted over a 20-week duration (one semester), the Prep Course is taught by our teachers. Focusing on the four key skills - Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing, the course aims to strengthen students’ proficiency and foundation in the English Language so that they can better cope with the lessons after being admitted into HCIS.  Students in the Prep Course are also offered some lessons in Mathematics or other subjects.

In addition, Prep Course students are given the opportunity to attend school events and programmes that will allow them to interact with students from other levels.
