Business Challenge (8 Mar 2011)

The  Business  Challenge  competition  organized by the  Faculty of  Humanities  was held on 8 March 2011. Six teams of pre-university two students participated in the challenge held in conjunction with the Talent Inno-fest competition. The judges were Mr Lim Siang Meng, Deputy General Manager (Corporate Development) of Keppel Integrated Engineering and Mr Li Qiao, Beijing Trade Custom Analyst.

The teams presented their innovative products/services together with their business plans, advertisements and elevator's pitch. Their impressive presentations won the commendations of the judges.

The winning team is Team six  which presented Fiancee Weddings. The members are Hong Qiting, Li Yu Chen, Ian Lim, Sun Tsung-Ho and Tan Yi Fei. Team Supreme (team 5), comprising Cho Ah Young, Gerald Wijaya, Kevin Kiesworo, Orakran Kliewpiya,  and Triantoro Tasmin,  clinched the first runner-up position in the competition. The second runner-up is Team 4 (Revtech) comprising Matthew Low, Alvin Sukwanto, Kartasuharta Tandajaja, Nat Sgulmitita and Spencer Wei.

It was an enriching and stimulating 'business lesson' for all students who gained an insight into how business presentations were conducted.
