HCIS 2027 Year 1 Direct Admission

All Primary 6 students are welcome to apply to HCIS via our 2027 Year 1 Direct Admission exercise, which allows eligible students to secure early placements in our school, even before sitting for the PSLE examination. Should the child be offered a place, and upon confirmation of acceptance of the offer, the child will be secured of the placement in our school regardless of the outcome of his/her PSLE results.

Please note that all applications must reach us by 6 June 2026. Any application received thereafter will not be considered for the Direct Admission exercise. Please take note of the important dates below:

Test Date: 26 June 2026

Interview Period: 20 to 24 July 2026

Admission Procedure

Admissions are open to local and foreign students throughout the academic year, subject to availability. Students are required to undergo:

1. Admission test

2. Interview

Admission test applicants are required to take written tests in English and Mathematics. Applicants who are seeking entry into Year 4 and IB1 are required to sit for the Physics test. Test topics on each subject are listed in the HCIS Admission Test Schedule and Requirement document.

Parents and guardians of applicants will be notified of the admission test outcome via email directly from the school. Notification emails received from any other sources are to be reported to or verified with HCIS.

Students, parents and guardians will be informed of the results release dates on the day of the admission test.
