We wanted Maea to do an IB program because we saw how IB helped my older daughter ease into university education; IB teaching is very similar to the method of teaching in university, and the transition was a breeze for my older girl.

We decided on HCIS because it is one of very few schools offering IB training from Year 1(Sec 1) with the rigour and discipline of a mainstream school. This turned out to be an excellent decision, as Maea was taught to think and reflect with empathy, respect and responsibility. She learnt to be openminded and receptive of world affairs through her 6 years in HCIS in a manner similar to a university education and the befitting of the current society.

Throughout the 6 years in HCIS, Maea was given numerous opportunities to grow her leadership and management skills through participation in various programs conducted by the school and external organisations. This was significantly more holistic than what my son experienced in his A-level course.

We are also grateful that Maea met many teachers who were wonderful educators, and who cared for the students beyond the classrooms.

Sending our daughter to HCIS is one of the best decisions we have made for her.

Juheon has gained not only academic achievements at HCIS, but also many unforgettable experiences and memories that will stay with him for life.

Hi everyone, I am father of Ikhyun, student graduated in 2024. Before joining HCIS, Ikhyun has consistently sought for the school that can provide a rigorous education program and fabulous teaching faculties. Hwa Chong, as one of the best school in the world that has demonstrated exceptional IB results, drove him to attend HCIS over other candidate schools. As expected, HCIS's education was great; IB program was meticulously structured, and 24/7 fervent support from dedicated teachers for each IB subjects led Ikhyun to attain a conspicuous IB result.

Yet, the most appealing aspect of HCIS is not only its educational rigor; we also focused on its heart-warming and nurturing environment that students can thrive as a motivated individual ahead of their future even after they graduate from HCIS. HCIS has a very passionate group of university counselors and teachers who have contributed to Ikhyun's successful university application for his entire IB career. Last but not the least, Ikhyun has a myriad of opportunities to collaborate and work towards the common goal with an extensive range of fabulous and dedicated students from each class and project. Ikhyun has collaborated with friends from diverse cultural backgrounds to conduct projects that empower the local community in Singapore. HCIS furthermore encourages students to set common goals and support each other for various ranges of academic competitions and projects. This supportive environment and academically intrigued group of students in the classes allows us and Ikhyun to feel that HCIS, indeed, is the best choice possible for his personal enrichment.

2020年，正值新冠疫情爆发之年，英淇从政府学校转入华中国际，我们之所以选择这间学校，主要是因为这所学校多年来严谨的教学和显著的IB成绩。在近六年的初高中学习过程中，英淇从一个不太自信的孩子，慢慢蜕变成一个勇于接受挑战，勇于面对困难的男子汉。特别在IB课程的最后两年，孩子的自学能力也有了很大的提升。
除学习之外，学校还非常注重每个孩子的全面发展，每年学校组织的一些课外活动，也培养了孩子的好多兴趣爱好，同时一些户外运动也锻炼了孩子的坚毅品质。

Carol had a wonderful and enriching IB journey with HCIS. The school provided a nurturing environment to challenge students to better themselves academically, regardless of their starting point. The IB preparation was solid. Carol had many opportunities to work with schoolmates from across Asia and Southeast Asia, to explore interests, to participate in events and competitions and to embark on service learning together. The mutual learning from diverse backgrounds and cultures was invaluable. Every student has an interesting personal story of how they ended up at HCIS. HCIS was single-handedly the best choice we made with regards to choosing a school for Yones. Despite joining only midway through the semester, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly she was able to adjust to the new environment. The school has tirelessly extended their full support in making Yones feel secure and at home. The teachers here are really committed, dedicated and caring. We can feel that they genuinely care and truly want the best for Yones. We are grateful for all the teachers that put in extra time and effort to help Yones throughout her IB journey.

Thank you HCIS for doing the groundwork required for Yones to flourish in future and develop into a resourceful, responsible and grateful person. Studying alongside students with diverse backgrounds from different countries has certainly enriched his understanding of how to interact with different cultures. Experience as student council, HMUN and other competitions and activities arranged by school was invaluable in building his self-confidence. During his 6 years of studying in HCIS the teachers have mostly been very supportive.

We are convinced that HCIS indeed possesses excellent teachers who manage the students rigorously. Throughout the years at HCIS, Yifan has learned much from the school.
