HCIS will be conducting a Special Admission Test for Returning Singaporeans, including Singapore Permanent Residents, who wish to join us at Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 or IB1 in the next academic year. Admission Test Date

The admission test will take place on Saturday, 06 September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Your child is eligible to apply if he/she:

is a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident returning from living and studying overseas
is applying for admission to Year 1 (Grade 7), Year 2 (Grade 8), Year 3 (Grade 9) or IB1 (Grade 11) in 2026
has completed, by the end of December 2025, a curriculum that is one level below the intended entry level, with consistently good academic performance over the preceding three years

Age Requirement

Admission is in accordance with the age limits stipulated by Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE). For each level, the age limit of up to 2 years over the normal age is to be adhered to.

When to Apply

Application for the admission test will open from Monday, 14 July 2025 to Friday, 15 August 2025.

How to Apply

To apply, please complete our online application form. Please note that you would be required to submit the following supporting documents electronically:

1) Singaporean – Copy of NRIC (if applicable) & Birth Certificate

Singapore PR – Copy of NRIC (if applicable), Re-entry Permit, Passport & Birth Certificate*

2) Copy of academic certificate result obtained (e.g. PSLE/GCE ‘O’ Level/IGCSE or other overseas certification, if applicable)*

3) For students from the Singapore education system: All academic results from Primary 1 to current level*

For students from other education systems: Latest 3 academic years’ results*

Other Important Information

Do note that admission test date is subject to changes. Applicants are advised to check the school website for updates. The school reserves the right to decline applicants once registration is full.

Please note that applications with any missing information or document will be considered incomplete and will not be processed. An Admission Administrative Fee (non-refundable and non-transferable) will be payable upon confirmation of test slot availability.
