跟着诗词去旅游 Workshop on Travelling with Chinese Poetry

Poetry is highly regarded in China. You would inadvertently be exposed to poetry if you were to travel there. Chinese poems can be seen engraved on cliffs and written on pavilions. They can be heard recited by tour guides or sung by boatmen. It is often said that the rhythms and rhyming verses of Chinese poetry can be felt even in the wind and rain. In China, nature and culture are always intertwined. Whenever one travels to a place of interest, the entire experience will become even more rewarding if one were to know the historical background and literary works that are related to the picturesque sceneries that one sees.

HCIS is organising a Chinese cultural workshop, “Travelling with Chinese Poetry”, on 9 April from 2 PM to 3 PM. Through this workshop, we hope to introduce you to a world where Tang poetry and Song literary works blend in seamlessly with the beauty of nature. All students, parents, alumni and anyone with an interest in Chinese poetry are welcome to join us in this fun and engaging workshop! 

Places are limited, so please register early! The workshop is limited to only 25 pax and will be conducted in-person at our school campus. Please note that the workshop will be conducted in Chinese.

本次文化活动将于四月九日下午14:00-15:00在华中国际学校校园内举行。我们真诚邀请所有家长、校友以及对古典诗词与旅游感兴趣的朋友参与，此次分享会名额限制为25位，欢迎大家踊跃报名。
