HCIS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

At Hwa Chong International School, we provide an excellent platform for students to realise their dreams of academic excellence. To facilitate the fulfilment of these dreams, HCIS offers several scholarships to provide a necessary fillip to academically driven students with talent and ability to prove their mettle, determination, and resilience to succeed. These scholarships also present a good opportunity to outstanding students who may be stifled by financial constraints to pursue an education in an international school. HCIS is committed to provide a positive learning environment in championing the school motto of “Continual Pursuit of Excellence” (自强不息).

The HCIS scholarships are given in recognition of deserving students who demonstrate:
  • Prowess in studies with potential for greater achievement
  • Exemplary conduct and good character
  • Student leadership with active contribution
  • Advocacy of school and/or community concerns
The school offers the following accolades:

HCIS recognises the importance of the inextricable link between education and success in life. Giving the scholarship awards to deserving students is an attempt made by HCIS to narrow this gap. It is a long-lasting investment into the lives of young people, which will enable talented and deserving students to acquire a combination of knowledge, skills, paradigms and values required of tomorrow’s leaders.
