HCIS Upholds Tradition of Excellence with Stellar IBDP Results

Hwa Chong International School (HCIS) is delighted to celebrate the journey and achievements of our latest graduating class in the November 2025 IB Diploma examinations. Our students not only met the challenges of the curriculum but excelled, proving that hard work and a supportive environment yield incredible results.

Despite a return to rigorous pre-pandemic grading standards, our Class of 2025 did not merely adapt but truly thrived, delivering a remarkable performance:

  • Average score of 38.3 points
  • 46.4% with 40 points or higher
  • 58.3% with 38 points or higher

While these exemplary results pave the way for admission to top-tier global universities, they also highlight the success of HCIS’s value-add approach to every student’s academic and holistic development. True to our School Philosophy of “Education for All, According to Each”, we value the individual progress of every student, many of whom have far exceeded their initial academic baselines through dedication and grit.

This would not have been possible without the commitment of our teaching staff, who not only challenge students to reach new heights but also mentor them through every hurdle, as well as our non-teaching staff, whose vital behind-the-scenes efforts ensure a seamless and supportive learning environment. It is equally a testament to the unwavering support of parents, who serve as the backbone of their children’s educational journey and play a crucial role in their emotional well-being. Most importantly, we acknowledge the hard work of our students, who have risen to every challenge with determination. This collective spirit highlights the strength of the close-knit HCIS community.

At HCIS, our pursuit of excellence remains relentless. We continue to look forward to reaching higher goals, driven by our vision to be a leading IB world school that celebrates Asian culture and values. We are dedicated to empowering our learners with character and global competency to be individuals of impact through a value-add education, ensuring that every student who graduates from HCIS is equipped not only with academic excellence, but also with the readiness to make a difference in their communities and beyond.
