Hollywood Lights Shine at the End-of-Year Boarding Event

On 14 November, HCIS Residence boarders stepped out in their most dazzling costumes for a glamorous Hollywood-themed End-of-Year Event. They made their grand entrance down a red carpet laid out at the Indoor Sports Hall, where spotlights, themed props and a striking stage setup set the tone for a truly memorable evening.

With exams and coursework finally done, our boarders fully embraced the celebration. They enjoyed catching up over snacks and drinks, and captured moments by striking their best poses at the photobooth.

One highlight of the evening was the talent showcase featuring boarders who performed popular songs from well-loved Hollywood films. The boarders showed their enthusiastic support, cheering on their friends’ confidence and creativity on stage.

Behind the scenes, the Boarding Councillors worked tirelessly to make the event a success. The programme committee curated a simple yet meaningful flow of activities, the food committee ensured everyone was well-fed with light refreshments, and the recreation team kept the atmosphere lively with engaging games.

It was a fitting and joyful way to wrap up the academic year—an evening filled with fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories.
