Our new weekend activity for boarders has officially begun on 6 July 2025! Designed to help new residents connect with one another, get comfortable in their new environment, and explore Singapore’s vibrant culture. This first outing took 18 students – who are from China and Korea – on a journey through Singapore’s Chinatown.
Our End of Year Celebration, themed “Christmas: The Prequel,” was an unforgettable evening that brought the entire residence community together in a spirit of joy, togetherness, and anticipation for the holidays.
Cluster Bash 2024 highlighted teamwork, healthy competition, and camaraderie through a variety of sports and merit-based challenges, with the Cluster of Respect winning the Grand Golden Trophy.
Lifeline Singapore has fostered strong connections with the HCIS Korean Boarders through their Resilience Program, which includes activities like decorating LED lamps to reflect personal values and creating mind maps to emphasize self-care.

Lifeline Singapore supports Korean boarders at HCIS Boarding with “Let’s Spark” resilience workshops, helping students develop coping strategies for stress through various activities. With the support of Lifeline volunteers, Korean students are finding meaningful ways to foster adaptation and resilience.

HCIS Residence identified stress among boarders. They implemented wellness programs, and emphasized mentorship to address academic and living challenges, providing counseling services and encouraging boarders to seek assistance for various concerns.
