The Mid-Year Festival: Halloween in July, held on the evening of July 13th, cast a mesmerising spell on all who attended. The Indoor Sports Hall was transformed into a world of mystery as boarders, Residence Mentors, and esteemed guests came together for the event.
The venue was filled with laughter and excitement, and everyone dressed in their most creative Halloween costumes. The atmosphere was electric, with decorations adorning every corner, setting the stage for an immersive experience.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the breathtaking performances by our talented boarders. Their dedication and hard work shone through as they took the stage, captivating the audience with their awe-inspiring acts.
Amidst the various performances, the snack table was a hub of delight. Attendees indulged in a delightful array of treats, with free-flowing cotton candy and popcorn satisfying their sweet and savory cravings. There were also customised cake pops, intricately designed for the occasion.
From the eerie surprises of the Horror Box to the thrilling aim of the dart games and the ball toss challenges, the carnival game booths provided a lot of fun interaction among our boarders and the Residence Mentors. Furthermore, the lucky draw left participants eagerly anticipating their prizes, while the candy box provided delightful consolation for those who didn’t win.
As the performances came to a close, the open mic session took center stage. Attendees showcased their hidden talents, sharing their melodies with an appreciative audience. The participants of the dance-off also showed off their best moves in a friendly and spirited competition. Throughout the evening, many visited the photo booth for countless snapshots of friends and acquaintances, old and new.
